If you look closely, you’ll see that it’s actually just a slightly redesigned Favorites list. The Quick Access list takes the place of the old Favorites list at the top-left corner of your File Explorer window.
Restore Quick Access back to how Favorite Folders worked To make File Explorer open to the This PC view, click the File menu, and select “Change folder and search options.” Click the “Open File Explorer to” box at the top of the window and select “This PC” instead of “Quick access.” This was the default view when you opened a File Explorer window on Windows 8. It also displays your user account’s folders Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, and Videos. But you might want to see the “This PC” view instead it’s more like the traditional My Computer view on older versions of Windows that displayed connected devices and drives.
